EVENT CAPTAIN (PART TIME & full time)
The Event Captain coordinates day-of-event operations for The Kitchen & The Studio, overseeing FOH staff, ensuring seamless event execution, and upholding brand standards. Responsibilities include supervising FOH team members, managing safety and sanitation, tracking transactions, and ensuring excellent client interactions. Shifts vary, including days, nights, weekends, and occasional emergency support. This role embodies The Kitchen’s values, maintaining event standards and a "One Team, One Dream" culture. Events encompass any client-requested use of facilities or offsite services.
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualities:
1+ years of experience in a similar role
Self-motivated professional with excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficient in training and managing in a way that embodies the company’s values to uphold a supportive, positive work culture
Proficient in timekeeping, managing details, money handling, tracking & reporting
Proficient in all company-required technology
Proficient in written & verbal communication skills
Creative solution seeker who quickly resolves conflicts and removes operational barriers

Exceptional customer service and hospitality
Detail-oriented leader with an ability to view interior & exterior aesthetics with a critical eye, intentionally noticing and resolving issues swiftly
Proficient at managing, troubleshooting, and quickly resolving operational issues
Maintain active ServSafe (food) certification
Ability to stand on your feet for 8+ hours continuously with a high level of stamina
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
Flexibility of scheduled hours: required to work days, nights, and/or weekends with on-call availability in emergency situations
