Charles will lead you through the workshop, during which you will learn the history and intention of Thai yoga massage. Massage will help increase flexibility, relieve stress and give a greater awareness of body and mind. Techniques used will work the top of the head to the bottom of the feet. You will use our hands, elbows, feet and knees to contact with our partners with Metta love and kindness. At the end, you will learn enough to work on your partner for a twenty minute massage. Following the session you will be treated to delicious and healthy Thai-inspired brunch to cap off a perfect morning.
Charles has been a fitness professional for over 20 years. Group instructor, personal trainer and track and field coach He leads a active lifestyle and in his spare time enjoys traveling, dancing and volunteering. It was in the Marine Corps reserve that he discovered his love for fitness.
Charles attended his first yoga class nine years ago and enjoyed the practice. It was the mental and physical combination that he loved. A few months later he was introduced to Thai yoga massage, it had a profound effect on his training philosophy. He began studying and practicing this form of bodywork four years ago. He has completed his level 1 -3 at the Lotus Palm school in Montreal.
