Do I have to make a reservation for the participatory dining events?
Yes, the success of a dining event depends on you! We will divvy up the menu and cooking needs for the night based on the total number of people coming that evening. This ensures that everyone gets the robust experience they are looking for and we can get dinner on the table in a reasonable time frame.
How long will a participatory dining event last?
You can expect a dinner event to last between 3 and 3.5 hours depending on the theme and the complexity of the menu. We encourage you to dress in comfortable shoes.
Are the participatory dining events appropriate for my child?
Most of our dining events are adult-oriented. Please check our calendar for family specific events. Taco Tuesday is family friendly, we love having kids around!
Are beverages included in the price?
On some occasions they are, but typically they are not. A cash (we accept credit cards too) bar is available so that you may get the beverage you like best.
Do I need a reservation for Taco Tuesday?
Taco Tuesday is a drop-in experience, no reservations needed. However, if you are interested in celebrating a special occasion at Taco Tuesday we would be happy to reserve a large table or area for you and your guests.
Do you have parking?
Yes, The Kitchen has parking just across the street from our building at the Livingston UMC parking lot.
What if I need to cancel my dining event reservation?
Dinner reservations are similar to buying a concert ticket—while they are not refundable, you are welcome to transfer your reservation to another person.
Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes, with notice we will make our best effort to accommodate your dietary needs so that you can cook and enjoy the food you love the most. Please don’t hesitate to contact us directly with any dietary concerns.
