Legends of the Fall Dinner: Featuring Chef Manny Castillo


Kick back at The Kitchen and enjoy a special dinning experience featuring Chef Manny Castillo. We are opening up our kitchen to Chef Manny so he can create an abstract dinning menu for our guests. Chef Manny currently lives in Los Angeles and wants to showcase his cuisine in hopes of opening his very own restaurant in Columbus. Come support Manny and enjoy his excellent cuisine! 

About Chef Manny:

Chef Manny's early influences were the PBS TV Shows of Julia Child, Graham Kerr and Justin Wilson's Cajun Cooking, they letf and incredible imprint. 

A graduate of Bishop Ready High School and The Ohio State University. Manny eventually relocated in Los Angeles. After a career in Corporate Finance with MCA/Universal and Fox Entertainment group, he went on to pursue a career in the restaurant industry. He gave up the desk and spreadsheets for the kitchen. 

In 2009 Michael Cardenas, Chef Josef Centeno and Manny opened the Lazy Ox Canteen in Downtown Los Angeles. Manny was called upon to work as director of operations and opening partner. He was relegated to using his expertise in accounting and business law to set-up the infrastructure of the restaurant. However, his true passion is in front of a stove. Manny wants to showcase his cuisine in hopes of opening a restaurant in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.
